CINCINNATI (WXIX) – Kroger’s two-day health and wellness festival returns to downtown Cincinnati this fall with special guest appearances from professional athletes, musicians and celebrities.
Come Sept. 26 and 27, Fifth Street will be filled with thousands of people coming to listen to celebrity lectures and musical performances, finding tips and tricks to better their lives and collecting many free items at the Kroger Wellness Festival.
This year’s festival will have two free concerts, headlined by The All American Rejects Friday night and Third Eye Blind Saturday night.
Throughout the jam-packed weekend, seven celebrities and professional athletes will be there taking part in fitness sessions, cooking demos and panels. Those special guest include:
- Actor Rob Lowe, best known for his roles in “St. Elmo’s Fire” and “The Outsiders”
- Food Network chef Alex Guarnaschelli
- World Series Champion and former New York Yankees infielder Alex Rodriguez
- Two-time Olympic medalist for the U.S. women’s gymnastics team and NBC Sports analyst Laurie Hernandez
- Eleven-time Olympic medalist for the U.S. track and field team Allyson Felix
- Actor and comedian Joel McHale, best known for his role in the hit TV show “Community”
- MMA star Dustin Poirier
“The Kroger Wellness Festival is a family-friendly event for anyone wanting to prioritize their well-being through fun, interactive experiences,” said Colleen Lindholz, president of Kroger Health.
The festival allows people to learn more about creating a healthier lifestyle for their mental, physical and emotional health through food, travel hacks and more.
A full schedule for the Kroger Wellness Festival will be released at a later date in August.
