The Kansas City Chiefs officially cut their roster from 90 to 53 players on Tuesday, August 26, after outstanding efforts at training camp and in the preseason.
Though the Chiefs’ roster will remain slightly in flux over the next week or so before Kansas City’s Week 1 matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers in São Paulo, Brazil, to kick off the regular season, the team’s starting lineup and depth chart are now mostly decided.

Star players like Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, Chris Jones, and Trent McDuffie were (obviously) safe from being victims of the Chiefs’ cut day, but others weren’t so lucky.
