Down in their Eastern Conference semifinal series 3-1 to the Indiana Pacers, the season is on the line for the Cavs.
After a brilliant 64-win regular season, being eliminated in the second round of the playoffs will be a letdown.
In Game 5 on Tuesday, May 13 the Cavs come back home to Cleveland. Of course Cavs players believe they can win the game. The injury to All-Star guard Donovan Mitchell will make that a challenge.
But if the Cavs win, there’s someone out there who thinks they’ll take the entire series. That would be none other than Charles Barkley.
On “Inside the NBA” on TNT after Game 4, Barkley had a suggestion for the Cavs on how to view Game 5.
“The Cavs gotta have a one-game mentality,” Barkley said. “If they win that game, Game 6 Indiana is going to be feeling the heat. They’re (Indiana) not going to go get Game 7 back in Cleveland. They’re not.”
