CINCINNATI — The St. Louis Cardinals claimed former Cincinnati Reds outfielder Garrett Hampson.
Hampson was designated for assignment on Sunday, June 22. He posted a .167 batting average in nine games for Cincinnati.
The Reds moved on from Hampson when they promoted Rece Hinds from Triple-A Louisville.
