The Nashville Predators have selected forward Ryker Lee with the No. 26 overall pick in the 2025 NHL Draft on June 27.
Lee, 18, just had a breakout season with the Madison Capitols in the United States Hockey League (USHL), scoring 31 goals and 37 assists in 58 games. The 6-foot-1, 187-pound, right-handed skater is a skilled winger with excellent puck-handling and scoring ability.
One of the USHL’s top scorers, Lee should make the NHL on his offensive talent, but he will need to improve other areas to stay there.
A native of Wilmette, Illinois, Lee is the third pick of the Predators in the 2025 draft on June 27, who selected center Brady Martin with the No. 5 overall pick and defenseman Cameron Reid at No. 21.
“Rapid-fire handling skill, explosive pull-back wristers, perfect lob passes, backhand dangles, precision saucer passes – Lee has just about every skill in the book.” one scout writing for Elite Prospects stated.
Lee is committed to the Michigan State Spartans for 2025-26. He joins Joakim Kemell, Matthew Wood, and Egor Surin as Nashville’s top wing prospects.
