Prince Harry’s Ex Cressida Bonas Shares First Photos of Baby Daughter

NEED TO KNOW

  • Cressida Bonas shared the first photos of her new baby, Delphina Pandora Wentworth-Stanley
  • Prince Harry’s ex and her husband named their second baby and first daughter in tribute to Cressida’s late sister, who died last year
  • Cressida, 36, previously said that she conceived her second baby via frozen embryo

Prince Harry’s ex-girlfriend Cressida Bonas is sharing what life looks like after the arrival of her baby girl.

On July 1, Cressida posted the first photos of her daughter, Delphina Pandora Wentworth-Stanley, to her Instagram page. The Daily Mail reported on June 9 that Cressida, 36, had given birth to her second child with her husband, Harry Wentworth-Stanley, five months after the model, actress and podcaster announced that she was pregnant and conceived her second baby via frozen embryo.

“Delphina Pandora 💫… Our first few weeks with Delphi 🤍…,” Cressida — who dated Prince Harry from 2012 to 2014 after being introduced by his cousin Princess Eugenie — wrote below the carousel of black-and-white family photos, which opened with a shot of Delphina snuggled on Cressida’s chest.

“Before she arrived, I wondered how it was possible to love anything as much as we love our boy. Then this little love bug showed up with a Mohawk hairdo and our hearts just expanded.”

Cressida also shared how the baby girl brought about memories of her half-sister Pandora Cooper-Key, who died last year.

“Sometimes, when I look into her eyes, I see a twinkle that reminds me of my sister Pandora,” she wrote.

The intimate reel rolled to show more photos of the newborn, including Delphi with her dad and on the floor with her big brother Wilbur, 2.

The couple married in 2020 and welcomed Wilbur in 2022, and Cressida reflected with candor on the “two long years of trying to conceive” in an essay for The Sunday Times a few weeks after he arrived.

“I count myself extremely lucky that IVF worked for us the first time. But what I learnt from my experience is that whether you’ve been trying for months or years, there are too many couples who struggle along the infertility path in silence. The more we share our stories and lean on others, the lighter the burden of shame that comes with infertility. If it hadn’t been for the people who shared their experiences with me, I’d have felt very alone,” she wrote in the essay.

The Daily Mail was the first to report that Cressida and her husband named their second baby Delphina Pandora. A friend told the outlet the choice was “a beautiful name for a beautiful girl.”

The Bump describes Delphina as a variation of the Greek name Delphine, which translates to “dolphin,” while Pandora is a tribute to Cressida’s late half-sister.

Pandora died in July 2024 at age 51, decades after she was first diagnosed with cancer at 26. The ceramicist and accessories designer had Li-Fraumeni syndrome, a rare hereditary syndrome that can increase the risk of several types of cancer, and Cressida wrote about how “my heart is forever tied to yours” in an emotional tribute after Pandora’s death.

“I will find you in the colors of life and moments of mischief. I’ll search for you in the stars and wherever there is dancing. I will turn the music up and dance more than ever before. I’ll look for you in my dreams where you’ll say, ‘Hi Smally,’ and tell me where you’ve been,” she wrote in part on Instagram then, sharing photos of them together.

“Then one day, I’ll remember you said in one of your final days, ‘I don’t know what all the fuss is about, I ain’t going nowhere…’ And I’ll realize, I never had to look for you at all. You were right here beside me all along, because, my darling sister, my heart is forever tied to yours,” she said.

While Cressida’s July 1 montage featured the first pictures of baby Delphina Pandora, the little one technically made her public debut the day prior!

On June 30, Cressida posted a clip of herself walking and talking with baby Delphi, in a video promoting the next season of her podcast, Lessons from Our Mothers.

“That is a wrap! Thank you very much for those of you who have listened and your feedback. I hope you have gotten something from it as much as we have, and we have loved making it,” she said in the clip, where she walked down the street with her infant strapped to her chest.

Cressida and her half sister Isabella Branson launched the podcast Lessons from Our Mothers on Mothering Sunday in March, the British equivalent of Mother’s Day.

The sisters used the show to explore how maternal figures inspired their guests’ lives and welcomed a starry lineup including Princess Eugenie, Princess Beatrice, Mary Berry, Camilla Alves McConaughey and Geri Horner-Halliwell on season one.
