Novak Djokovic, Jannik Sinner, Carlos Alcaraz Stay As 3 New Faces Join the Trio for Six Kings Slam 2025

The official schedule and participants list for this season’s Six Kings Slam have been announced. Novak Djokovic, Jannik Sinner, and Carlos Alcaraz will return, while three new faces will join the trio for the Six Kings Slam 2025.

The Six Kings Slam is a tennis exhibition tournament held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, as part of the Riyadh Season. Launched in 2024, it has quickly become one of the standout new events on the tennis calendar. Backed by Saudi Arabian authorities, the tournament features the world’s top players competing for a massive prize pool.

Everything You Need to Know About the Six Kings Slam: Surface, Tournament Format, Schedule, Lineup, and Prize Money

The Six Kings Slam is a men’s tennis exhibition tournament played on indoor hard courts. The event follows a single-elimination format, with two players receiving byes directly into the semifinals.

The tournament takes place over three days, with one designated as a rest day to comply with an ATP rule stating that players can’t compete on three consecutive days in an exhibition during the season. Because it’s not an ATP-sanctioned event, players don’t earn any ranking points, and victories here don’t count toward their head-to-head records.

The official lineup for the 2025 Six Kings Slam has been revealed. Last season’s winner, Sinner, returns alongside previous participants Alcaraz and Djokovic. Joining them are three new faces set to make their debut in the exhibition tournament: Alexander Zverev, Jack Draper, and Taylor Fritz.

The tournament will take place from Oct. 15 to 18 this year. On Monday, Jul. 7, Turki Alalshikh, Saudi Arabian sports promoter, Minister of the Saudi Royal Court, and Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority, made the announcement public in a recent post on X (formerly known as Twitter).

“Proud to announce the 2nd edition of Riyadh Season’s Six Kings Slam on Oct. 15-18 featuring the world’s top six players in PIF ATP rankings. Janik Sinner will return to defend his crown against Carlos Alcaraz, Novak Djokovic, Alexander Zverev, Jack Draper and Taylor Fritz,” he wrote.

Last year, the event was headlined by six top players: Djokovic, Rafael Nadal, Sinner, Alcaraz, Daniil Medvedev, and Holger Rune. Sinner emerged as the winner of the inaugural tournament, defeating Alcaraz in the final and taking home the biggest prize check in tennis history. Djokovic secured third place with a victory over Nadal.

Each of the six participants is guaranteed a minimum prize of US$1,500,000, while the winner will receive the largest prize in tennis history: US$6,000,000, nearly double the US$3,500,000 awarded to the Australian Open champion this year.
