Warner Bros. Pictures has shifted gears for its marketing efforts on the Mortal Kombat II movie due out later this year, putting together a fake IMDB page for Johnny Cage.
The IMDB listing for Cage, portrayed by Karl Urban in the upcoming martial arts-action flick, features a profile for Cage alongside listings for his various movies, including Uncaged Fury, Hard To Cage The Gist of my Fist, Cool Hand Cage and others. What’s more, all the films have a rating of 6.9 — classy!
Other features include a list of awards that Cage has amassed over the years as a Hollywood superstar, including Best Fight in a Feature Film and Best Sunglasses. In keeping in with Cage’s character, an FAQ asks ‘Who is Johnny Cage dating?,’ to which the response is ‘Your mom.’

Mortal Kombat II is directed by Simon McQuoid and is slated for release on October 24, 2025 in theatres. The film sees a number of returning stars from the original movie, including Josh Lawson, Lewis Tan, Jessica McNamee, and Hiroyuki Sanada, with Urban, Adeline Rudolph, and Tati Gabrielle among the newcomers.
