“Saturday Night Live” is coming back for Season 51.
After the hit late-night comedy sketch series celebrated its 50th anniversary earlier this year, NBC announced that it will return for a new season on Saturday, Oct. 4.
August is a big month for “SNL” fans. As per tradition, fans can enter the lottery this month for a chance to win complimentary tickets to this season’s shows. The “SNL” ticket lottery is open throughout the entire month of August.
How to enter the ‘SNL’ ticket lottery
The “SNL” ticket lottery is open from Aug. 1 at midnight ET and will remain open until 11:59 p.m. ET on Aug. 31. Those who enter will have the opportunity to score tickets to either the 8 p.m. dress rehearsals or 11:30 p.m. live tapings on the Saturday nights when shows are scheduled.
To enter the “SNL” lottery, all you have to do is send an email to SNLTICKETS@NBCUNI.COM. “Please include your first and last name and tell us why YOU would like to be a part of our studio audience! If you are selected, you will receive a set number of tickets for a random show date and time,” reads the ticket section on the NBC website. “Entering the lottery does not guarantee tickets, and you will only be notified in the event that you are chosen,” it continues.
Fans of the show are only allowed to send one email per person and must send their message during August, or it will not be accepted.
All 50 seasons of “SNL” are currently available to stream on Peacock.
