Mere weeks after Hugh Jackman settled his divorce from Deborra-Lee Furness, not only did he and Sutton Foster go on a luxe vacation, but they’re already allegedly talking about wedding plans. Not only that, but insiders allege Jackman is planning to do something with Foster that he did with Furness: not make her sign a pre-nup.
Insiders claimed to Star Magazine that once Sutton is officially divorced from ex Ted Griffin, big things may come out of her and Jackman’s romance.

“Hugh’s adamant that he trusts Sutton and that she’s his soulmate,” they said. “Hugh will be making things official. He doesn’t want or need a prenup — his rationale is that anything they make together would be a 50-50 split, and he’ll hold onto what he had before.”
For reference, Jackman has a net worth of $120 million, while Foster has a net worth of $4 million, per Celebrity Net Worth. So, it’s a rather big difference, but this isn’t new for Jackman since he and Furness had no pre-nup as well.
That’s right, inside sources told the DailyMail in early 2025 that “one of the biggest reasons why they haven’t yet filed is that they never had a prenup.” (Since then, they’ve settled, but it took nearly two years!)
“When they got married, they thought it would be forever. Who doesn’t? At the time, neither of them expected Hugh’s career to get as enormous as it has. Because there was no prenup, and he made a fortune during their marriage, this divorce is not going to be cut and dry,” they said.
So it seems the long divorce proceedings haven’t dampened Jackman’s ideals of marriage, and he’s reportedly okay with going no prenup again.

For those who don’t know, Jackman and Foster’s relationship allegedly began as an affair in 2022, while they were working together on The Music Man on Broadway. They had met over a decade prior, in 2008, when they saw Shrek on Broadway.
Per a bombshell November 2024 report in Us Weekly, Jackman and Foster’s alleged affair seemingly caused his divorce from Furness. “Deborra-Lee was blindsided when she found out about the affair through the run of the show,” one source alleged. “I think many people were shocked [Jackman] could do this to her.”
