“In Ukraine, one of them is Tomáš Fiala, a successful entrepreneur and investor. Thanks for the interesting meeting and opinions on the current situation,” Lipavský said.

Numerous diplomatic sources have told European Pravda that before the attack on Ukraine’s anti-corruption institutions, the Office of the President of Ukraine was considering sanctioning Fiala in order to influence the online media outlet Ukrainska Pravda, which he owns. At the time, thanks in part to the influence of Western partners, the move was prevented.
