Alex Rodriguez and his girlfriend, Jaclyn Cordeiro, were present inside the Target Center in Minnesota, MN, on Thursday night to witness a thrilling Game 2 of the Western Conference semifinals between the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Golden State Warriors. Cordeiro wore an elegant green overcoat jacket, while Rodriguez wore a white shirt and white pants with a black jacket for the game night.

The Timberwolves won the contest by a credible scoreline of 117-93 to level the Western Conference semifinals series on Thursday night. After the game, A-Rod and Cordeiro met with former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver and three-time Super Bowl champion Michael Irvin. The trio shared a frame for an image that was later uploaded to Irvin’s Instagram account on Friday.
In the caption of the post, Irvin voiced gratitude towards both A-Rod and Cordeiro for their amazing hospitality at Target Center. The caption read, “Just want to THANK my 🙌🏾fam brother and sister for taking great care of me last evening. Love you guys @arod Great @timberwolves win.”
Rodriguez holds minority ownership of the Timberwolves and the WNBA team, the Minnesota Lynx. He owns a 20% stake in each of the teams alongside his business partner Marc Lore. The duo had led a consortium of investors in 2021 and had successfully bid for the complete ownership of the team at a cost price of $1.5 billion.
However, the deal was turned down after the team’s current owner, Glen Taylor, backed out, leaving both A-Rod and Lore as minority owners. The duo were defiant in their approach to becoming majority stakeholders in both teams and appealed Taylor’s hasty decision in court last year.
The group led by Lore and Rodriguez won the legal battle, and Taylor was asked to sell the majority stakes in both teams to them for the predetermined price from 2021. The T-Wolves are just one of many sound investments that Alex Rodriguez has made after hanging up his cleats in 2016.
The former Yankees infielder has been diversifying his investment portfolios with the A-Rod Corp. The A-Rod Corp was founded by the MLB icon in 1996. Besides the multidimensional conglomerate, he also founded a couple of real estate firms in 2008 and 2012.
Like her boyfriend, Cordeiro is also attempting to become a successful entrepreneur in her field of interest.
