The doll will be shown at the Soldiers Orphanage Homestead from July 11-13 as part of the “Devils on the Run Tour.”
GETTYSBURG, Pa. — Gettysburg will be hosting a terrifying visitor this weekend.
“Annabelle,” the infamous, supposedly haunted doll housed in the Warren’s Occult Museum in Connecticut, will be coming to the Soldiers Orphanage Homestead from July 11-13 as part of the “Devils on the Run Tour.”
“Gettysburg, already known for its historical significance and paranormal energy, will be graced by Annabelle’s presence at the ‘Haunted Orphanage,'” TCD Paracon and Entertainment wrote in the event’s description. “This location is already rife with eerie tales and supernatural activity. The Haunted Orphanage, with its tragic past, is a place where the paranormal seems to thrive. Annabelle’s visit to this location is sure to create a unique experience for those brave enough to join in this stop along the ‘Devils on the Run’ tour.”
Sponsored by Ghostly Images of Gettysburg Tours, the tour promises to be “a chilling experience that brings the tales of famed ghost hunters, Ed and Lorraine Warrens’, investigations to life.”
Annabelle, who, “despite its seemingly innocent appearance, has been the cause of numerous terrifying incidents,” will be one of many paranormal artifacts from the Warrens’ collection on display on the tour.
As part of the tour, there will also be a “Gettysburg Ghost Hunt with Annabelle” on Friday, July 11.
Exclusive to participants 18 and older, this will be a four-hour ghost hunt with the New England Society for Psychic Research (NESPR), and it will take participants to the Jennie Wade House and the Haunted Orphanage.
Those who are not brave enough to see the doll in person are in luck, as tickets to all events throughout the weekend are sold out. However, if the stories are to be believed, her presence will surely be felt throughout all of Adams County.
