Atlanta Falcons 2025 schedule

FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. — Grab a pen. Get out the calendar. The 2025 Atlanta Falcons schedule is here.

The NFL already announced Tuesday the Falcons are playing the Indianapolis Colts on Nov. 9 in Berlin, Germany, for a Week 10 international game. The rest of the 17-game slate was revealed Wednesday. It features a divisional home opener in Atlanta, the Falcons’ earliest bye week since 2017 and five prime-time games.

All games are on Sundays unless otherwise noted.

For starters, the Falcons host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sept. 7 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. It’s a 1 p.m. ET kickoff for Week 1.

The Falcons’ first prime-time game follows on Sept. 14 in Week 2, and it’s on the road against the Minnesota Vikings. That’s set for an 8:20 p.m. ET kickoff at U.S. Bank Stadium.

Atlanta remains on the road for a Sept. 21 divisional game against the Carolina Panthers at Bank of America Stadium. But then the Falcons return home on Sept. 28 for the Washington Commanders. Both Week 3 and 4 games are 1 p.m. ET kickoffs.

Week 5 is the Falcons’ bye. That’s the earliest possible bye week across the league.

The Falcons’ bye may feel a bit longer, too, because Atlanta’s Week 6 game isn’t until Monday, Oct. 13. This second prime-time game will be a home matchup against the Buffalo Bills at 7:15 p.m. ET.

The flip side of the longer lead-up to the Bills game is a quick turnaround for a cross-country Week 7 road game. The Falcons play the San Francisco 49ers at Levi’s Stadium on Oct. 19 with an 8:20 p.m. ET kickoff. That will mark Atlanta’s third prime-time game.

Atlanta then has two consecutive 1 p.m. ET kickoffs again between Weeks 8 and 9, first against the Miami Dolphins on Oct. 26 at home and then against the New England Patriots on Nov. 2 at Gillette Stadium.

Week 10 is the Falcons’ international game. They’re the away team.

The Falcons return stateside on Nov. 16 to host the Panthers in a Week 11 divisional rematch with a 1 p.m. ET kickoff. That takes care of Carolina in the NFC South race.

Meanwhile, the Falcons play the New Orleans Saints for the first time on Nov. 23. The Week 12 divisional game is set for a 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff at Caesars Superdome.

Atlanta stays on the road then in Week 13, heading up to the New York Jets on Nov. 30 for a 1 p.m. ET kickoff at MetLife Stadium. This will be a homecoming for the Falcons’ new defensive coordinator, Jeff Ulbrich, who coached for the Jets from 2021-24.

The Falcons have another 1 p.m. ET kickoff in Week 14 – at home against the New York Jets on Dec. 11 – before their fourth prime-time game in Week 15. The Falcons-Buccaneers rematch at Raymond James Stadium has been slotted for an 8:15 p.m. ET kickoff on Dec. 11, a Thursday. That handles that divisional matchup, with a mini bye to follow.

Again, though, Atlanta stays on the road in Week 16 with a 4:05 p.m. ET kickoff on Dec. 21 against the Arizona Cardinals at State Farm Stadium.

The Falcons come back to Atlanta for their first and only set of back-to-back home games – and both will provide good storylines for Weeks 17 and 18.

First, on Dec. 29, a Monday, the Falcons host the Los Angeles Rams for their fifth and final prime-time game with an 8:15 p.m. ET kickoff. This will also be a reunion of sorts, just slightly delayed. Both head coach Raheem Morris and offensive coordinator Zac Robinson came to the Falcons from the Rams in 2024. Morris was in Los Angeles from 2021-23. Robinson was from 2019-23.

Then, either on Saturday, Jan. 3 or Sunday, Jan. 4, the Falcons will have their rematch against the Saints as the regular-season finale. Kickoff time will be decided upon at a later date. Depending how the Falcons’ and Saints’ seasons go, the outcome here may impact the NFC South standings.

In addition to the regular-season schedule, the Falcons’ three preseason games were announced against the Detroit Lions (home on Friday, Aug. 8 at 7 p.m. ET), Tennessee Titans (home on Friday, Aug. 15 at 7 p.m. ET) and Dallas Cowboys (away on Friday, Aug. 22 at 8 p.m. ET).

Below is a complete look at the Falcons’ full 2025 schedule.
