LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – The forecast stays mostly quiet on Friday. Highs on Friday will be the warmest this week, pushing 90°. A more impactful system arrives this weekend.
Saturday kicks off our next set of First Alert Weather Days with the arrival of a strong, cold storm. Wind gusts will push to 40+ mph, as scattered showers are also set to develop late in the day.
Sunday, Monday and Tuesday are First Alert Days as well. The storm is expected to settle over the region on Sunday, before taking multiple days to move out. The best rain chances will come on Sunday and Monday, but expect a sharp drop in temperatures as well. Sunday’s high is 70°.
Monday will be the coolest day next week, with a forecast high temperature in Las Vegas of 63°.
A chance of lingering showers remains on Tuesday.
Conditions begin to improve and temperatures are expected to rebound by midweek next week.
