Blue Jays at Angels picks and predictions

Prediction

Angels 4, Blue Jays 3

The ANGELS (+100) are worth backing at even-money at home against the skidding Blue Jays.

Los Angeles entered this series on a 1-8 skid, but it piled up 8 runs in the series opener, the most since plating 10 runs in a game against the Cleveland Guardians on April 5.

Toronto has dropped 3 in a row, and 6 of the past 9 outings, while going just 1-6 in the past 7 road contests.

If you’re a bit more conservative, consider ANGELS +1.5 (-155) at a moderate price.

Again, while L.A. scored 8 runs in the series opener, it has still struggled to plate runs as a whole. The Halos are averaging just 3.5 runs per game to rank 26th in the majors.

UNDER 9 (-118) is worth backing in the middle game of this series.

Take it easy, and don’t get too carried away, as the Over has hit in the past 3 games for Toronto. However, the Under has a 7-6 edge in the past 13 outings since April 21.

For the Angels, the Over has cashed at a 6-1 clip in the past 7 games, but with the pitching staff allowing 5 or more runs in 8 of the past 10 contests. However, they’ve allowed 3 or fewer runs in 2 of the previous 3 contests.
