Activision has pulled off something that no Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 and Warzone player could’ve imagined. When you load up the game, you often see too many advertisements as Activision desperately tries to convince players why they need their expensive cosmetic bundles. Before the season 4 update, these adverts wouldn’t annoy you after the home screen, but now, players have discovered that they also appear in the loadouts section.
It’s no secret that Activision manipulates the Call of Duty fanbase into buying expensive skins. Activision holds a patent that allows it to use matchmaking that influences game-related purchases. There is no proof that Activision uses this in its games, but it does raise some eyebrows.
