Did you get in? Well, if you already received an email then you’ll have your download code and time slot – but if not, just sit tight, these may be going out in waves.
This is a proper beta by the way, and the terminology we’ve read prohibits participants from sharing footage online and discussing their experience. Of course, those rules will be broken within minutes of the servers getting switched on, but it’s worth noting all the same.
For those of you who haven’t been following, this superhero smash-up is Sony’s attempt at a first-party fighter. It’s partnered with Japanese developer Arc System Works to get the 4v4 affair off the ground, and everything we’ve seen thus far looks incredible.
This beta is hopefully the first step on the road to release next year, as the studio stress tests it servers and tunes the title’s overall balance.
We’re sure more public facing betas will follow in the future, so don’t stress it too much if you didn’t get in.
