Desert sees record precipitation after storm

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY-TV) – Our desert area saw record precipitation on Thursday after our storm activity with Arizona and southeast California at 1.12 inches.

According to the National Weather Service, we’re tracking isolated showers and thunderstorms through Wednesday.

We’ll see near to below normal temperatures are forecast through Thursday with lower desert highs around 100 degrees.

Drying conditions will mostly end rain chances by Friday as temperatures warm back to around or just above normal.
