Tennis pro Grigor Dimitrov went public with his new girlfriend and that turned a lot of heads.
That’s because she’s Eiza González. According to her IMDb profile, she is a singer and actress. She has starred in major Hollywood movies like Baby Driver and Fast and Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw. She is also appearing in Fountain of Youth, a new Apple TV+ film.
Dimitrov’s girlfriend gushed his praises on Instagram.
On May 16, she shared a photo of the couple together and wrote, “Happiest bday to the man of my dreams. @grigordimitrov you’re one of one. You truly are my absolutely favorite human, and I can’t believe I’ve been lucky enough to find you. You’ve restored so much in me I didn’t think was possible. To the kindest most thoughtful and caring man. I admire every inch of the human you are and are becoming. I cannot wait to celebrate many many more. I love you G. ❤️”
Other tennis greats weighed in on the comment thread. “Aiiiiiiiiiiiii love this,” tennis legend Serena Williams wrote.
According to Tennis.com, the pair confirmed they were dating in May when they appeared together at the Red Sea Film Foundation’s Women in Cinema Gala hosted by the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Cap d’Antibes.
The rumors started when González “was in Dimitrov’s player box at the Mutua Madrid Open,” Tennis.com reported.
González was seen telling him, “Amazing baby” in Madrid. She attended his Madrid match with actress Eva Longoria.
She has had traumas in her life. According to In Style, González opened up about a prior boyfriend’s alleged infidelity. She also lost her father in a motorcycle accident when she was just 12 years old.
She told InStyle in 2024, “I am telling you: When I’m in love, I fall in love so deep and it takes me so much to get over,” she says. “And the older I get, it’s harder for me because I don’t play around. I go in and I give it all. I am not going to half-ass anything.”
