Hugh Jackman finalized his divorce from Deborra-Lee Furness in June, but there’s still a “dark cloud” hanging over his relationship with his Music Man costar Sutton Foster, a source tells the National Enquirer.
Foster, 50, filed for divorce from her husband of nearly 10 years, Ted Griffin, last October, but he “is dragging his feet,” says a source. “He’s upset and doesn’t want to let go, which is upsetting for Sutton because she still really cares about him.”

The Younger actress is also concerned about her 8-year-old daughter, Emily, “who is the light of both their lives,” adds the source. “Every decision has to be made with her in mind, which makes it all that much heavier.”
The stress is taking a toll, says the source. “Sutton is a positive and upbeat person so she does her best to put a happy face on for Hugh, but he can see that she’s struggling. He hates that he can’t just swoop in and fix this for her.”
All the Deadpool & Wolverine star, 56, can do is be patient. “He’s dying to propose, but he knows the timing would be terrible so he’s got no choice but to wait, which is killing him.”
As an insider previously told the Enquirer, “an engagement is inevitable. As soon as she and Ted are officially done, Hugh will be getting down on one knee. He’s planning out the rest of his life with Sutton.”
