Hulk Hogan cause of death: Legendary wrestler suffered heart attack as well as cancer battle with leukemia

WWE

New details about Hulk Hogan’s health have emerged after his death. Hogan’s cause of death was officially ruled a heart attack, with medical documents also revealing his history with leukemia.

Forensic documents confirmed acute myocardial infarction, commonly known as a heart attack, as Hogan’s cause of death. USA Today Sports published the report on Wednesday after obtaining documents from the Pinellas County Forensic Science Center. Hogan, 71, had a history of atrial fibrillation, a heart condition causing irregular and rapid heart rhythm. The forensic details align with initial reports that Hogan died on July 24 after suffering cardiac arrest.

The documents, part of the cremation approval summary report, also noted that Hogan had leukemia CLL, a type of cancer affecting white blood cells and bone marrow.

A spokesperson for the Pinellas County Forensic Science Center told the publication that Hogan’s death was certified by his primary care physician, and the medical examiner did not have a case into Hogan’s death.

Hogan, a six-time WWE champion and two-time WWE Hall of Famer, is survived by his wife Sky Daily, and his ex-wives, Linda Hogan and Jennifer McDaniel, as well as his children, Brooke and Nick Hogan.
