Eliesse Ben Seghir has been left out of AS Monaco’s squad to face RC Strasbourg Alsace on Sunday. The Morocco international is on the verge of completing a move to Bayer Leverkusen.
Ben Seghir has almost certainly already played his last game for Monaco. An agreement has been struck between his formative club and Bayer Leverkusen over a permanent transfer. Breel Embolo, the subject of talks with Stade Rennais, has also been left out of the matchday squad, as he has been in the other two matchday squads this season.

Vanderson is also absent this weekend. The right-back has a minor calf injury, which could also force him to pull out of the Brazil squad for the upcoming international break.
