The trumpet decorations previously shown off in concept art for the Disneyland Resort 70th anniversary celebration have finally been installed at Sleeping Beauty Castle after weeks of reported delays.
Trumpet Decor Installed for Disneyland 70th Anniversary

Following the installation of the 70th anniversary banners and medallion at Sleeping Beauty Castle, the trumpet decorations and “70” emblems have been installed, weeks after the celebration’s kickoff, due to reported “delays.”

The new decor includes two crossed goldtone trumpets on each banner along the drawbridge to the castle. On top of them is a circular badge with “70” inside in a similar brushed gold. On the badge behind the numbers is a floral pattern with tones of purple, pink, blue, and gold.

A swirl of stars on a goldtone flat metal piece wraps around the torches on the banner poles.

The “70” on the smaller emblems matches the main medallion above the entrance into the castle.

Now Sleeping Beauty Castle resembles the concept art for the 70th anniversary, shown below, which was first released late last year.

The Disneyland Resort 70th anniversary celebration began on May 16, 2025 and runs through summer 2026.
