Reese Witherspoon and Oliver Haarmann Pack on PDA During Yacht Getaway

Reese Witherspoon and Oliver Haarmann are packing on the PDA in France!

Witherspoon, 49, and her German financier boyfriend Haarmann, 57, were photographed looking cozy together as they spent time on a yacht off the coast of Saint-Tropez, France, on the country’s southern coast on Sunday, July 13. The pair were photographed sharing kisses and hugs as they lounged on the boat and in the water. Witherspoon wore an all-white bathing suit, while Haarmaan had on a striped bathing suit, a blue tee-shirt and white Nike baseball cap.

In September 2024, multiple sources confirmed to PEOPLE that Witherspoon and Haarmann were dating. When the Academy Award winner and Haarmann, a minority co-owner of the NHL’s New York Islanders and a founding partner of Searchlight Capital, were first seen spending time together in N.Y.C. in July 2024, a source told PEOPLE that Witherspoon was “taking things slow when it comes to dating.”

“She enjoys it but doesn’t want it to be a big focus. She’s busy with work and her son,” that source said at the time. “These are her biggest priorities.”

A source told PEOPLE in October 2024 that Witherspoon was “having fun with Oliver,” noting that the actress and producer “often flies between Nashville and N.Y.C. to see him.” 

“He’s spending time with her kids too,” the source said at that time, noting that Haarmann had spent time with Witherspoon’s sons Deacon Phillippe, 21, and Tennessee James Toth, 12, whom she shares with exes Ryan Phillippe and Jim Toth.

Back in October 2024, the source said that they were not “sure if [Haarmann had] met” Witherspoon’s daughter Ava Phillippe yet. “Reese loves that he’s a businessman and not into Hollywood,” the source added of Witherspoon and Haarmann at that time.

Witherspoon last appeared in a movie with 2025’s You’re Cordially Invited, a wedding-themed comedy in which she costarred with Will Ferrell and Geraldine Viswanathan. She will next appear on screen in the fourth season of her Apple TV+ series The Morning Show and has a number of projects in the works, including the long-awaited third Legally Blonde movie, which remains in pre-production.
