What to expect for the upcoming fall weather season
A meteorologist shares the fall forecast for 2025. He explains which areas will transition to fall the quickest as well as what to expect with severe weather.
Summer seems to be winding to an end, and dry conditions will be on tap for Greater Cincinnati.
Temperatures will be a couple of degrees warmer on Monday, Sept. 8, with afternoon highs in the low to mid-70s, according to the National Weather Service office in Wilmington.
Overnight lows will be in the 40s. Highs will range from 75 to 80 degrees on Tuesday, Sept. 9.
Temperatures will start a little cooler than normal on Wednesday, Sept. 10, but will reach the low 80s by the afternoon. Expect highs in the low to mid-80s through the end of the work week.
Slightly warmer temperatures in the mid- to upper 80s are forecast for the weekend. Lows will be in the mid- to upper 50s.
The extended forecast for the week also looks quite dry. However, a low chance of rain may occur at night on Saturday, Sept. 13.

Monday night: Clear, with a low of around 50. Light northeast wind.
Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 81. Light and variable wind.

Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 84. Calm wind.
Wednesday night: Mostly clear, with a low of around 59.
Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 86.
