The NCAA softball tournament bracket down was whittled down from 64 teams to 16 teams for the super regionals Sunday night — even with a few weather delays.

The first weekend of the tournament has included a few surprises — hello, unseeded Liberty — and some familiar storylines — Patty Gasso and OU are rolling yet again.

Here’s what you need to know about the super regionals.

Which teams have advanced in NCAA softball bracket to super regionals?

  • No. 2 Oklahoma: Will host Alabama in Norman Super Regional
  • No. 3 Florida: Will host Georgia in Gainesville Super Regional
  • No. 4 Arkansas: Will host Ole Miss in Fayetteville Super Regional
  • No. 5 Florida State: Will host Texas Tech in Tallahassee Super Regional
  • No. 6 Texas: Will host Clemson in Austin Super Regional
  • No. 7 Tennessee: Will host Nebraska in Knoxville Super Regional
  • No. 8 South Carolina: Will host UCLA in Columbia Super Regional
  • No. 9 UCLA: Will travel to face South Carolina in Columbia Super Regional
  • No. 11 Clemson: Will travel to face Texas in Austin Super Regional
  • No. 12 Texas Tech: Will travel to face Florida State in Tallahassee Super Regional
  • No. 15 Alabama: Will travel to face Oklahoma in Norman Super Regional
  • No. 16 Oregon: Will host Liberty in Eugene Super Regional
  • Georgia: Will travel to face Florida in the Gainesville Super Regional
  • Liberty: Will travel to face Oregon in Eugene Super Regional
  • Nebraska: Will travel to face Tennessee in Knoxville Super Regional
  • Ole Miss: Will travel to face Arkansas in Fayetteville Super Regional

When do teams play in NCAA softball super regionals?

Best-of-three series played May 23-25 or May 22-24. All times Central. The eight winners of super regionals advance to the Women’s College World Series at Devon Park in Oklahoma City:

Norman Super Regional: No. 2 Oklahoma vs. No. 15 Alabama

  • Game 1: 4 p.m. Friday (ESPN2)
  • Game 2: 2 p.m. Saturday
  • Game 3 (if necessary): TBD Sunday

Gainesville Super Regional: No. 3 Florida vs. Georgia

  • Game 1: 10 a.m. Friday (ESPN2)
  • Game 2: 10 a.m. Saturday
  • Game 3 (if necessary): TBD Sunday

Fayetteville Super Regional: No. 4 Arkansas vs. Ole Miss

  • Game 1: 7 p.m. Friday (ESPNU)
  • Game 2: 8 p.m. Saturday
  • Game 3 (if necessary): TBD Sunday

Tallahassee Super Regional: No. 5 Florida State vs. No. 12 Texas Tech

  • Game 1: 6 p.m. Thursday (ESPN2)
  • Game 2: 2 p.m. Saturday (ESPN2)
  • Game 3 (if necessary): 6 p.m. Saturday

Austin Super Regional: No. 6 Texas vs. No. 11 Clemson

  • Game 1: 8 p.m. Thursday (ESPN2)
  • Game 2: 8 p.m. Friday (ESPN2)
  • Game 3 (if necessary): 8 p.m. Saturday

Knoxville Super Regional: No. 7 Tennessee vs. Nebraska

  • Game 1: 2 p.m. Friday (ABC)
  • Game 2: 2 p.m. Saturday (ABC)
  • Game 3 (if necessary): TBD Sunday

Columbia Super Regional: No. 8 South Carolina vs. No. 9 UCLA

  • Game 1: 6 p.m. Friday (ESPN2)
  • Game 2: 4 p.m. Saturday
  • Game 3 (if necessary): TBD Sunday

Eugene Super Regional: No. 16 Oregon vs. Liberty

  • Game 1: 9 p.m. Friday (ESPNU)

  • Regionals: May 16-18
  • Super regionals: May 22-25
  • Women’s College World Series: May 29-June 5/6
