No. 8 Notre Dame has retaken the lead against No. 17 Texas A&M in a key Week 3 matchup.
The Fighting Irish allowed the Aggies to tie the game after a busted coverage and poor tackling allowed for wide receiver Mario Carver to take a Marcel Reed pass 86 yards to the end zone.

But Notre Dame struck back with a 7-play, 75-yard run that running back Jadarian Price capped off with a 7-yard touchdown run. Price’s run followed a 43-yard flea-flicker pass that Fighting Irish quarterback CJ Carr completed to tight end Eli Riordan.
The Irish lead, 14-7, following that drive.
