Skies will be mostly cloudy otherwise, and high temperatures will rise to the low 80s.
Sunday will bring a better chance of rain and storms, and some of the storms could be strong or even severe. The Baltimore area is under a marginal risk, threat level one of five. This means that severe weather is possible. Areas farther south, including parts of Anne Arundel and Howard Counties are under a slight risk, threat level two of five. This means that severe weather is possible.
Tomorrow morning will begin with scattered showers. By the afternoon, storms will move into the region. Rain will taper tomorrow night.
Damaging wind gusts are the greatest threat, but there is also the chance of heavy rain, especially within thunderstorms. Hail and isolated tornados cannot be ruled out. All types of severe weather will be possible tomorrow, so be sure to have multiple ways of receiving any alerts issued.
To follow, expect a mostly dry day on Monday with highs in the low 80s under partly cloudy skies. Rain will return Monday night, lasting into Tuesday. The rest of the workweek will be dry and much warmer. Highs will go from the low 80s on Tuesday to the upper 80s and low 90s by Friday.
