WWE recently spoiled the return of a huge star after more than a year away in a huge botch.
The promotion recently revealed all the participants for the King and Queen of the Ring tournaments. Asuka, 43, who has been away from the promotion for more than a year, was recently announced for a return. The star was last seen on the May 6 episode of RAW in 2024. This came after Backlash France. The Empress of Tomorrow stated that she had been carrying a knee injury for a while and needed to get it healed. She has been away since.
Now, her return date has been set for the Queen of the Ring Tournament. However, instead of making her return a surprise, the star’s name was revealed during the announcement of the tournament’s brackets. After 400 days, the star is set to return to WWE, with many calling the early revelation a botch.

Asuka is set to face Stephanie Vaquer and two other stars in the WWE Queen of the Ring Tournament
It seems Asuka’s first match after her return will be against the up-and-coming Stephanie Vaquer, Raquel Rodriguez, and Ivy Nile. The stars will undoubtedly be engaged in a great contest with all of them being exceptionally talented.
A date for their bout has not yet been announced, but it should come anytime on WWE time.
